2 struck, injured by shooter at Latino festival in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (AP) – Cleveland police say someone fired shots into a large crowd attending the city’s Latino Festival, injuring at least two people.

WEWS-TV reports that an 18-year-old man was in critical condition Sunday at MetroHealth Medical Hospital after being struck in the back around 10:40 p.m. Saturday. Authorities told the station a second man was also shot, but he refused treatment.

The shooter fled the municipal parking lot on South Marginal Road and had not been apprehended. Police continue to investigate.
