An Ambulance and Corvette collided in Boardman.


BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Corvette and ambulance collided Sunday afternoon in Boardman.

The accident happened just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of South Avenue and Route 224.

The couple in the Corvette and the driver of the ambulance were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The ambulance was traveling through the intersection with its lights and siren on when it was struck by the Corvette.

Traffic was rerouted as crews worked to clear the accident from the road.

The driver of the Corvette will be cited, according to police.
