YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown man who had been set to go on trial Monday morning will undergo a mental evaluation before the trial starts.
Michael Paige is one of two people accused in the death of Munir Blake back in 2012.
But just before jury selection could begin, a judge ordered Paige be tested to see if he is competent to stand trial.
Prosecutors said the shooting followed an argument where the victim accused the suspects of stealing electrical service.
An earlier case in March of 2014 ended in a mistrial.
