Woman, dog escape Warren Township fire

WARREN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Smoke detectors work! A working detector in a Warren Township home went off at about 3 am Tuesday, sending the homeowner and her dog outside. The roof of the house was partially destroyed and some windows broken out.

That home is in the area of 2800 Highland Ave. SW. Lordstown, Weathersfield and Champion firefighters helped Warren Township crews fight the fire. They were still on the scene at last check.
