Down, down, down go gasoline prices

gasoline prices, pump

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Gasoline prices continue their free fall in the Mahoning Valley. The average price for regular in Youngstown-Warren on Wednesday was down 2-cents from Tuesday, 12-cents from a week ago, and 38-cents for the month.

The AAA daily survey has the average price at $2.31 a gallon. But a little shopping around will get you a lower price. The Gas Buddy website had drivers reporting prices of $2.10 in Champion Township and $2.11 in Bazetta Township.

And check the numbers from one year ago today: $3.34 per gallon. Prices are falling despite an increase in the price of crude. It was back above $50 a barrel on Tuesday.
