Crash at new 4-way stop in Goshen Township

GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A reminder that an intersection north of Salem is now a four-way stop: A man was taken to the hospital from a three-vehicle accident in Goshen Township on Thursday morning.

Township police saidthe driver of a Chevrolet passenger car ran the Route 45 stop sign at Route 165 and did not slow down.

Officers at the scene said that the intersection previously had stop signs for Route 165 traffic only. There had been signs on Route 45 that warned of the new stop signs.

The accident happened just before 7 am. The man was taken to Salem Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to township police who continue investigating. No one else was injured.
