Marshalls will hold hiring event in Boardman

Marshalls coming soon to Boardman, Ohio

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Marshalls is opening a new store in Boardman and is looking for workers to staff it.

Applications will be taken by Marshalls staff from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Aug. 13 at the OhioMeansJobs Center in the Boardman Plaza, 141 Boardman-Canfield Road. The company said it will hire 75 workers for the store, which will open next month in Tiffany Square Plaza at South Avenue and U.S. Route 224.

Positions that Marshalls will be filling include merchandise associates, administrative coordinators, backroom coordinators, customer experience/engagement coordinators and merchandise coordinators.

Marshalls is owned by TJX Companies and operates more than 900 stores nationwide. The new store will occupy more than 20,000-square feet at the Tiffany Square Plaza. The department store chain operates stores in Kent and in Monaca, Pa., and its parent company also owns TJMaxx, which has stores in Boardman and Niles.
