CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – A Campbell man was arraigned Friday after being arrested on robbery charges.

James Kirk, 22, is one suspect in the Wednesday afternoon robbery of Christy’s Pastry Shop on Twelfth Street in Campbell. His bond was set at $100,000.

After getting a description of the two suspects from a witness, police found them a few blocks away, according to Campbell Police Lt. Kevin Sferra.

“At that time, we brought them back down for identification and the victim could not identify them because she said that they covered their face during the robbery,” Sferra said.

Kirk and the juvenile suspect were not arrested until the juvenile’s mother tipped off police. The juvenile then confessed and gave police Kirk’s name.
