SHARON, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – A Sharon man is in the Mercer County Jail after threatening to behead his mother and step-father with a large sword, according to Sharon police. (see image above). 19-year-old Gage Carrozzi is charged with making terroristic threats and with domestic violence.

Officers were called to the house at 714 Meek Street at 7:40 Thursday night for a domestic disturbance. Witnesses tell police they observed Carrozzi exiting the house, yelling to his mother and step-father, “you’ll both be leaving without a head”. He went back inside when police arrived.

Officers say Carrozzi became violent when he was served an eviction notice. He and his girlfriend were breaking items in the house when he went to his bedroom to retrieve the machete.

No one was injured. Carrozzi is held on $10,000 bond. There’s a preliminary hearing next week.
