Stolen band instruments worth big bucks

CALCUTTA, Ohio (WKBN) – Quite a price tag on those items stolen from the Beaver Local Middle School building in Columbiana County last week.

The band instruments taken were estimated to be worth $37,000 to $40,000. Some $200 in volleyball team t-shirts were also taken.

The burglars also vandalized some of the rooms in the building. The sheriffs department is investigating.

The building on Route 7 in Madison Township is set to be demolished when the new K-12 facility opens next year.
