Turnpike service plaza closes for search

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WKBN) – A service plaza on the Ohio Turnpike was shut down for part of the day on Tuesday as police officers searched for three suspects in an Alliance shooting incident that happened the night before.

State troopers ended up arresting two men at the Erie Island Service Plaza south of Sandusky at milemarker 100. They searched for a third person they believed to be there but he apparently got away.

A fourth suspect was arrested by Alliance police earlier in the day.   The 4 were allegedly involved in a drive by shooting on Grant Street in Alliance that injured 2 men. Police say the shooting was part of an ongoing feud.
