Campbell boil alert continues

CAMPBELL,Ohio (WKBN) – City of Campbell residents continue to boil their tap water for drinking and cooking as the city water department works to get clean water test results. Multiple samples are being taken from several locations.

A spokesperson at the water plant says crews are out flushing hydrants and adding chlorine to the system. They are awaiting earlier test results also.

A Sunday water main break along Coitsville Road near Starr Avenue precipitated the boil alert. Any water for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil for at least a minute, according to the CDC.
