Hubbard Twp. PD: Drug trafficker sold heroin to cop at Burger King

Michael Atwood, arrested for heroin possession in Hubbard, Ohio.

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – Hubbard Township Police charged a man with trafficking heroin and pills Tuesday, according to a press release sent Thursday.

Police charged Michael R. Atwood, 30, with aggravated trafficking, including possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.

Atwood sold heroin and a generic form of Suboxone pills to an undercover officer in the parking lot of Burger King on N. Main St., according to the release, which also charged that Atwood was pivotal in the distribution of heroin in Hubbard.

Atwood is being held in the Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $27,500 bond.
