CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Canfield Fair is primarily an exposition of farm animals, produce, baked goods, and a lot more. Even art.

For a proper exposition, you need 1st and 2nd place winners, etc. That’s what’s happening now at the fairgrounds.

WKBN found people judging art work created by students from across the Valley on Thursday. The group included students volunteering with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center.

This year’s contest theme is Experience It, and there are more than 1,500 entries. They’re divided by school and judged by grade and category.

The fair opens on Wednesday September 2nd and wraps up on Labor Day, September 7th.
