Power restored in East Liverpool

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) – Power has been restored in East Liverpool after an accident cut service to hundreds of customers.

About 1,800 customers lost power about 9 p.m. Sunday after a car crashed into a utility pole on Avondale Street.

According to the Morning Journal, a woman hit the pole and fled he scene.

At last check, officers have not located the driver.

City Hall also lost power and police radios were down for a short time.

All power has been restored.
