EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) – It appears East Liverpool teachers will be in their classrooms for the start of the school year. The teachers union and school board in a joint release say they have come to a tentative collective bargaining agreement.
A teachers spokesperson says the two sides met for eight hours today. The East Liverpool Education Association has pulled the strike notice it issued earlier.
Teachers will vote on the tentative agreement on Thursday. The board will vote on Monday.
