UNION TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – A former Lawrence County volunteer firefighter is accused of setting a fire then responding to it.

Investigators say Darrin Haught set fire to a vacant home in Union Township, then came back to help put it out.

The 19-year old confessed to starting the fire by dousing a backpack with lighter fluid and igniting it. Investigators say he then left, waited for his pager to go off and then responded to the call, even suiting up to fight the flames.
