Two-car crash kills 2, including Greenville Police officer

GREENVILLE, Pa. (WKBN) – A two-car crash in Greenville, Pa. killed two people, including a Greenville Police officer, according to a report from the Pennsylvania State Police.

The report states that the crash killed driver Jeremiah Christner, 41, along with another person riding in his car. The second person’s name is not visible on the report.

Greenville Police confirmed that Christner was employed with the township as an officer.

According to the report, Christner’s car was moving west on Greenville Sheakleyville Road, while the other car was coming east. Christner turned right, lost control of his vehicle, and struck the other car, according to PSP.

The crash injured the driver and passenger in the other vehicle, the report stated. All four people involved were wearing their seatbelts.
