New Castle man jailed in Michigan murder

NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – A New Castle man wanted for a murder in the state of Michigan is in the Lawrence County jail. 24-year-old Nathan Stokes Jr. was arrested earlier this week.

Officers and Pennsylvania State Police troopers searched a home in the 300 block of Haclo Drive in New Castle where they arrested  Stokes. He is not only charged with murder in the first degree, but he also has warrants for witness intimidation and assault with intent to murder out of Michigan.

Stokes’ bond is set at $250,000.
