Firefighters investigate third arson in two days in Lawrence County

NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Fire investigators in Lawrence County have a third fire in two days to deal with.

Wednesday night, there was a fire in a vacant home on Fulkerson Street in New Castle. The fire started around 6 p.m.

Firefighters found flames on all the floors. They got out before the building collapsed.

Tuesday, there were two deliberately set fires in vacant homes in nearby Union Township. The New Castle Fire Department plans to talk with the Union department to see if there’s anything in common among the fires.
