STRUTHERS, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown non-profit group collected back to school items and toys as part of a charitable Poker Run event on Sunday.

Toys for Youngstown Kids got together at the Tangier in Struthers for a five-hour ride. There was also live music at the Youngstown-Poland Road bar for members who chose not to ride. They brought school supplies and toys too.

“Youngstown has pulled together and has become a great community for everybody”, says Ashley Lisk with the Toys group. “We might have a lot of our own issues but we do band together and we help out everybody in need, especially our kids.”

Their website indicates the group formed for the Christmas holiday in 2013.
