Fire destroys vacant house in Youngstown

A fire destroyed a vacant house on Glenellen Ave. in Youngstown, Ohio.


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A fire destroyed a vacant house in Youngstown late Sunday night.

Crews ere called about 11:30 p.m. to the house along South Glenellen Avenue.

The flames gutted the front part of the house, roof and porch.

Firefighters believe it may have started on the porch, but an cause is still under investigation.

There have been at least five vacant house fires in the city within the past week.
