ORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York man will spend up to nearly two years in prison for a shooting that injured a teenager who threw snowballs at his car.

Jerquan Dickson, 22, was sentenced Monday to 11-and-a-half to 23 months in prison. A York County judge also ordered a mental health evaluation and any treatment recommended.

Dickson pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in June.

Authorities said he fired six shots with 9mm handgun toward the teenager and his friends in Pierce Alley near South Pine Street after Dickson’s 1995 Infiniti was hit by snowballs Jan. 24.

The 15-year-old was treated at a hospital for gunshot injuries to his right arm and left thigh.
