AUSTINTOWN TWP, Ohio (WKBN) – A few thousand people filled the Barry Dyngles Pub parking lot in Austintown Wednesday night, waiting to see if they were a winner in the Queen of Hearts game. With the jackpot at nearly $330,000, the excitement was at a fever pitch.

Rose Taylor who lives nearby says “I walked up because I didn’t want to get stuck in this and wanted to see if I could win.”

There was no winner though. Jennifer Melago’s ticket number was called, but the card came up the Ace of Spades. Was she shaking when her name was called? “Yes”, she says. “Because I really thought I was going to win. I want to win it!” Melago says she’s been playing for months.

The money goes into next Wednesday’s drawing. The jackpot next week could be $450,000. 114,000 tickets were sold for this drawing.

The restaurant cannot keep any of the money, but it’s sure been a boon to business. An estimated 3,000 people packed the restaurant, parking lot and nearby parking lots.
