The Navy Seal who fired the shot that killed Osama Bin Laden spoke in Guilford Lake, Ohio.

GUILFORD LAKE, Ohio (WKBN) – The Navy SEAL who says he fired the head shots killing Osama bin Laden in 2011 stopped in the area Thursday night. Robert O’Neill met with members of the veteran consulting firm Advanced Training Group Worldwide and their families in Guilford Lake.

Fellow Navy SEAL Adam Newbold owns the firm. He invited his friend O’Neill to discuss his mission in Pakistan to a crowd of nearly 400.

“I just came here to raise awareness for a lot of the veterans who are transitioning from the military to the private sector”, says O’Neill. “I came here to support my dear friends the Newbolds who are legends in the SEAL teams. I just want to show my support and do some good that we can.”

O’Neill wouldn’t allow his speech to be recorded. He has a contract with Fox News Channel.
