Three charged with manslaughter for supplying alcohol involved in fatal crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol has traced back the source of alcohol in a fatal accident in Ashtabula County. For the first time since the trace-back program began in Ohio, three people who patrol investigators say supplied alcohol to an underaged person have been indicted on involuntary manslaughter charges.

Tracie T. Pascoe, 49, Marilou Tipton, 71, and Jacob Pascoe, 18, all of Geneva were indicted by the Ashtabula County Grand Jury. The patrol investigation determined the three hosted a party at their home back in June.

Adam Wright, 18, of Geneva was at that party. He’s charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a motor vehicle under the influence for running a stop sign and killing the driver in another car, Alexandria Struhar.

The patrol says trace-back investigations involve tracing the source of alcohol, whether it is sold or provided to an underage or an already intoxicated individual, following a serious injury or fatal crash, or an alcohol-related incident.
