HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) – Hermitage Police are looking for a man who they say stole a purse at Wal-Mart in Hermitage Thursday morning, according to a press release.

The release states that Thursday, around 11 a.m., a tall, thin black male wearing a baseball hat began asking the victim about blinds at the store, located at 1275 N. Hermitage Rd. While doing so, a black female wearing a white shirt over a red shirt walked up behind the victim and stole her purse from her shopping cart and replaced it with a similar-looking purse that was empty.

Police believe that the male and female ended up leaving together in a small black vehicle. The stolen purse contained credit cards, cash, keys and other miscellaneous items.
