Man shot in groin on west side says he was just asking for directions

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A 39-year-old man remains hospitalized after he was shot on the west side Saturday night. He tells police he had stopped to ask for directions.

Michael Twite was hit in the groin in the incident in the 2600 block of Tyrel Avenue. Police found him lying in a pool of blood.
