Contract vote at Kmart Distribution Center goes down

The Kmart distribution center in Bazetta is adding jobs

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The majority of workers who voted Sunday on a contract proposal at the Kmart Distribution Center in Warren rejected the deal.

According to the Tribune Chronicle, 150 of the 180 workers at the Perkins-Jones Road facility rejected the contract proposal.

The current contract expires Tuesday. UAW Local 1112 president Glen Johnson said both sides plan to sit down again to negotiate.
