Lakeview posts another shut out

CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Bulldogs have outscored their first two opponents by a combined score of 56-0 after tonight’s 35-0 win over Liberty. Lakeview (2-0), as a team, rushed for 220 yards and finished with 380 total yards from scrimmage. The Bulldog defense forced 2 turnovers as they held the Leopards to less than 100 yards of offense (70).

Lakeview has won 5 of their last 7 meetings with Liberty. In their past three matchups with the Leopards, the Bulldogs gained over 200 yards of rushing. John Estlack only carried the ball 8 times but scored three touchdowns and amassed 95 yards. Angelo Marino completed 7 passes while attempting 15 for 160 yards. Marino also averaged 5.9 yards per rushing attempt (10-59). Sean Rein snagged 3 passes for 75 yards.

Liberty was led by their quarterback JaShaun Whitman, who ran for 22 yards on 8 carries. Dra Rushton caught a pair of passes for 14 yards.
