LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – Lisbon’s Josh Liberati compiled 4 total TDs in the Blue Devils’ 34-0 victory over Ridge.

The Devils have outscored their first two opponents by a score of 88-0.
Liberati scored 3 TDs on the ground (7 attempts, 17 yards) while passing for 161 stripes (8 of 14) and another six points for Lisbon. Danny Shultz led the team in rushing with 79 yards on 10 carries. Colin Sweeney caught 2 passes for 78 yards (TD) while Frankie Morrell hauled in a pair of Liberati’s tosses for 37 stripes. Jared White caught 3 balls for 32.
The Rams were led by Alex Kooyman, who closed out the contest with 74 rushing yards on 10 attempts. Mineral Ridge’s QB Mac White completed 4 of 10 for 44 yards.
Since the ITCL was formed, the Rams had won eight straight from Lisbon prior to last year’s loss. Lisbon has now won their last two meetings by a combined score of 69-7.
Ridge will play their first home game of the season next week when they welcome Newton Falls. The Blue Devils will make the trek to Hanoverton to face United in week three.
