Route 711 accident witness: ‘I started praying for God’

At least one person was injured in a crash on Route 711 in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Traffic along Route 711 was backed up early Friday evening after an accident.

An SUV flipped over on the connector, ejecting a female passenger. Cars swerved around the accident as the car flipped over several times.

Ryan Markenkovic pulled over to help.

“I went over and I pumped on her chest a couple of times, checked her pulse, and it just got worse from there. I started praying for God,” Markenkovic said.

The witness said the woman still had a pulse when medics arrived on the scene.

There were three people in the vehicle when the accident happened, including a little boy.
