Runners head to downtown Youngstown for Steelathon

The Steelathon race was held in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – People from all across the Valley made their way down to the Covelli Center Sunday for Steelathon.

The event is the only obstacle course in the area that has an urban setting. It was designed to be a challenging and fun experience for people of all ages and fitness levels.

The Steelathon not only wants to support the rescue mission of the Mahoning Valley, but is also is designed to support and celebrate the history of downtown Youngstown.

Prizes are given in the top three male and female finishers in each age group as well as the top three finishers overall.
