NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – A man was killed Sunday afternoon after the car he was driving struck a utility pole on Wilmington Road.

According to the New Castle News, Adrian Holmes, 19, of New Castle, was pronounced dead of injuries sustained in the one-vehicle accident, according to Lawrence County Deputy Coroner Rich Johnson.

Neshannock Township volunteer firefighters had to extract the driver, who was pinned in the Chevrolet Cavalier that was wrapped around the pole in the 3100 block of Wilmington Road.
