Davidson leads the Clippers past East Palestine

Clippers pick up win

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WKBN) – Trailing by 11 points in the 4th quarter, Mitch Davidson scored twice to give Columbiana a 28-23 win at East Palestine tonight.

Columbiana’s signal caller Davidson threw for 242 yards (13-18) and ran for another 83 stripes (3 TDs). The Clippers gained 363 yards of total offense (242 passing, 121 rushing).

Josh Pickett ran for 247 yards on 32 totes and scored twice. Pickett also was the Bulldogs’ leading receiver as he caught 3 passes for an average of 9 yards. Parker Steele-Sherry completed 6 of 9 for 58 yards.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will hit the road to face Lisbon next Friday. Columbiana (2-1) will pay a visit to Sebring.
