McDonald tops Grand Valley

Blue Devils roll to win

McDONALD, Ohio (WKBN) – Looking to bounce back from their loss last week to Springfield, McDonald stormed out on Friday night and picked up the win over visiting Grand Valley 28-7.

In the first quarter, the Joe Perry’s 40 yard run deep into Grand Valley territory set up his own six yard touchdown run to give the Blue Devils’ the 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Ben Carkido connected with Jake Recard from three yards out to make it 14-0 McDonald.

The Blue Devils rolled from there, picking up the win 28-7.

McDonald (2-1) host Wellsville in week four.
