WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – In a battle of big schools with big expectations coming into the 2015 season Warren G. Harding outlasted Massillon in a game filled with offensive fireworks and lead changes, topping the Tigers 48-41.

In the first quarter, a long Harding touchdown run set the pace and gave the Raiders the early 7-0 lead.
Still in the first, it was star running back Keemari Murry finding the endzone to increase the Warren Harding lead to 13-0.
But, the Tigers would answer with a score of their own, shrinking the Raider advantage to 13-6.
In the second quarter, Murry broke free of the Tiger defense once again, punching it in from inside the Tiger 10 yard line for another score and a 20-6 Raider lead.
Needing a score to stay in the game, Massillon engineered another impressive drive, capped off with a short touchdown run getting the Tigers back within a score, 20-13.
Then it was Raider quarterback Lynn Bowden’s turn to show what he could do. On a fourth and 11, Bowden connected with Juwan Pringle on a crossing route and Pringle did the rest after the catch, scoring and putting the Raiders ahead 26-13.
In the third quarter the tide turned. Scoring twice, Massillon claimed their first lead of the game, 27-26.
The Raiders would strike again, retaking the lead 34-27 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, Massillon tied things up with a touchdown, knotting the game at 34.
On the ensuing kickoff, Harding star Bowden showed how electric he is taking the ball 90 yards for the score, giving the lead back to the Raiders, 41-34.
Massillon would tie it up again, but could not keep the high powered Raiders’ offense out of the endzone. Warren Harding picks up their third win on the season 48-41.
