New Middletown police and fire help residents prepare for emergencies

Officers and firefighters in New Middletown, Ohio handed out emergency kits.

NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – With the month of September being National Preparedness Month, New Middletown Police and Fire were assisting people in the community in being more well prepared in the case of an emergency.

Over 300 emergency preparedness bags filled with brochures on how to handle emergency situations and how to make a preparedness kits. They also handed out over 200 smoke detectors.
