Warren JFK keeps Girard offense quiet

WARREN, OH (WKBN)-Warren JFK remains perfect in 2015 after the Eagles topped Girard 23-9 during a raining game at Mollenkopf Stadium Saturday night.

The Eagles got the scoring started early in the first after Evan Boyd took a handoff to the near sideline 15-yards to give JFK the early lead over rival Girard.

After a field goal by Justin Bofenkamp, the Eagles got back into the end zone when Jacob Coates went 52-yards on a jet sweep to extend the lead to 16-0.

Girard would get on the board late in the first half when freshman quarterback Mark Waid took it himself to pull the Indians within 16-6.

JFK would add another touchdown later from Boyd giving him two on the evening.

Girard falls to 0-3 and will host Champion next week. As for Warren JFK, they move to 3-0 and welcome undefeated Crestview to town next Saturday.
