Boy, 14, charged in Philadelphia shooting that injured 2 men

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Authorities say a 14-year-old boy has been charged in a north Philadelphia shooting that injured two men over the weekend, one critically.

Police said a 25-year-old man was shot in the chest and shoulder on Saturday afternoon and reported in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

A 48-year-old man was hit in the finger and forearm and was reported in stable condition at the hospital.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the 14-year-old youth was quickly arrested about six blocks away. Names of the victims or suspect weren’t immediately released.
