Crisis team called to Pymatuning Twp. home after man makes threats

A man is wanted by police in Pymatuning Township after making threats.

PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – Police have charged a Pymatuning Township man after they say he threatened to kill himself and shoot police officers if they try to arrest him.

Mercer County’s Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) responded about 11 p.m. Wednesday to a house on Shadow Drive in South Pymatuning Township after they were notified about threats to police.

Officers searched the surrounding neighborhood for a few hours and tried to track the man’s phone but did not locate him at that time.

On Thursday, officers received a tip that Mark Bertolasio, 44, was at home. Officers arrested him there and charged Berolasoi with making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.
