SALEM, Ohio (WKBN) – Matt Weingart connected on 15 of 24 passes for 88 yards in Salem’s 10-9 win over Canton South. Cooper Bezeredi ran for 60 yards and caught 6 passes. Salem’s defense has now allowed an average of 9 points to be scored per game.

Canton South’s two quarterbacks Brooks Herrington (7-13-85) and Silas Snyder (5-7-63) combined to complete 12 of 20 for 148 yards. Trey Longoria ran 18 times for 59 yards and a score. Jake Daniska caught 4 passes (66 yards) and Brandon Weaver snagged 3 (41 yards). The Wildcats have lost three straight.

Canton South (1-3, 0-1) will end their two-game road trip when they welcome Alliance next week. The Quakers (4-0, 1-0) will visit Marlington.
