Farrell stands tall against West Middlesex

FARRELL, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – The Steelers displayed their strength in all facets of the game as they ran away from West Middlesex, 42-0, tonight to raise their mark to 3-0.

Alex Myers tossed two touchdowns to give him 7 for the year and Tyrel Adkins hauled in a score and also ran another one in for the victorious Steelers. Braxton Chapman ran for 150 yards and scored twice. Farrell outgained the Big Reds, 281-8, in the first half of action while forcing two turnovers.

For the game, West Middlesex only gained 41 total yards and finished 2 for 14 on third downs while turning the ball over 3 times.

The Steelers chose tonight to show respect to the 20th Anniversary of the first football state championship in school history as they honored both the 1995 and 1996 teams who won back to back PIAA titles.

West Middlesex (2-1) will play host to Wilmington for Homecoming. The Steelers will play their first road game since week one when they visit Lakeview.
