Johnston’s 212 enough for Beaver Local

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – Robert Johnston ran for 212 yards, scoring 3 times, as Beaver Local notched their first win of the year tonight against Edison, 48-33. Johnston was the workhorse as he ran the ball 28 times.

Sophomore Michael Clendenning filled in late as he gained 130 yards rushing also (3 TDS). As a team, the Beavers ran for 378 yards (393 total) and were able to convert 5 of 11 third downs.

Edison falls to 1-3. The Wildcats will look to get back into the win column next week when they welcome Union Local.

Beaver Local will play their rival East Liverpool in week five.
