5 injured in Youngstown crash

Five people were injured in an accident in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Five people were taken to North Side Hospital Tuesday after a two-car accident on the north side.

Police say a car ran a red light at Fifth Avenue and Broadway Street just before 9 a.m. and was struck by an oncoming SUV.

The car was carrying several members of a family, including children.

Police say non of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing. It is not clear if anyone was immediately charged in the accident.
