Hubbard water service to be interrupted Wednesday

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – City of Hubbard water customers who live south of the cellular tower located on Creed Street will have an interruption to their water service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the Hubbard Police Department, repairs to a pump station on Creed Street will take place Wednesday, prompting the service interruption.

A boil advisory will be in effect following the repair. Water samples will be sent out and results should be back the following day, according to police. At that time, the advisory will be lifted.

Customers should bring water to a full boil for one minute before consumption. Bottled and boiled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes, food preparation, and making ice.
