YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The man police believe fatally shot a teenager in Youngstown was arraigned in Youngstown Municipal Court Wednesday.
Sir Wolfgang Green, 21, is charged in connection to the September 16 shooting death of 16-year-old Devon Bailey.
Bond was set at $1.2 million. The court set the high bond noting that Green is considered a flight risk.
Police believe Green attempted to change his appearance while police were looking for him. When he was apprehended Tuesday at a home on Summer Street, officers found fresh hair clippings and clippers at the house. There is a marked difference in Green’s appearance after the haircut.
Green attempted to avoid capture by jumping from a window of the house, but was caught and taken into custody.
Devon Bailey was found with a fatal gunshot wound inside a house in the 500 block of Cohasset Drive. He was a student at East High School.
