3 injured in Hubbard Township accident

Three people were injured in an accident in Hubbard Township, Ohio.

HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Three people were taken to the hospital Friday after two vehicles collided in Hubbard Township.

The accident happened about 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Route 7 and Chestnut Ridge Road.

One person was trapped inside a vehicle and emergency crews had to cut the vehicle open.

Both vehicles ended up landing in a wooded area off of the road, striking small trees.

All three victims were taken to Saint Elizabeth Health Center with minor injuries.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.

The accident is under investigation.
