Police: Man sexually assaulted Youngstown nursing home patient

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police arrested a man in Warren Monday, charging that he sexually assaulted a woman at a nursing home.

Police charged Gilbert Macali, 26, with gross sexual imposition. On Sept. 23, a nurse at Camelot Arms Nursing and Rehab Center in Youngstown told police that Macali, who worked at the facility, sexually assaulted a patient at the nursing home, according to police.

Macali no longer works for Camelot Arms, according to the nurse, who said that she and her co-workers are cooperating with police.

Police arrested Macali on Patchen Ave. in Warren and are holding him in the Mahoning County Jail.
