2 injured in I-80 crash in Mercer County

Two people were injured in an accident on I-80 in Mercer County.

MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) – Interstate 80 in Mercer County was reduced to one lane Thursday morning because of an accident.

The crash happened about 6 a.m. on I-80 between West Middlesex and Mercer, near the Route 19 exit.

A mini-van lost control and went off the road. Three people were in the vehicle, two were taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries was not known.

The accident was cleared on the highway by 7 a.m.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
